FAQ and troubleshooting

I signed in but see “access pending”.

Your identity is valid but your agency membership or assignments are not approved yet. See pending access.

A menu item is missing.

Menus depend on enabled modules, delegated admin grants and your active persona. Try another persona from the account menu; if the module is not enabled for you it will not appear in any persona. See persona menus.

I switched persona and still cannot open a record.

Expected — personas never grant access. Request an assignment change.

Why can’t I reassign or delegate this task?

You must be the owner, hold the task's capability, or be a user administrator; the new person must already hold the capability and scope; the task must be open; and handoff reviews cannot go to the package preparer. See tasks and assignment.

Why can’t I mark a review task complete?

Review, approval, handoff and changed-input tasks close when you record the decision on the item itself.

I saved the COR but they still have no access.

Saving proposes the COR. Access exists only after the configured reviewer confirms the designation. See contract team assignment.

The Branch Chief cannot be set as the CO.

A branch chief is distinct from the contracting officer. Name the warranted CO for the contract.

Readiness says checks are open but the work looks done.

All three checks — facts confirmed, conflict resolved by the source owner, COR designation verified — must be satisfied. Use *Keep intake draft* to see exactly which are open.

Why do public awards have no documents or team?

USAspending awards are public references only: no transactions, documents or assignments. Use them for research context, not managed work.

My colleague sees different counts on My Day.

Counts are computed after authorization for each person, scope and perspective.

Scout is missing or says SI is paused.

Either the Sigma module is not enabled for you or the agency SI admin paused SI. Manual work remains available. See availability.

I downloaded the package — is it filed?

No. Download, handoff and official filing are separate; filing is confirmed only by the official receipt.
