Experience preview, release and rollback

Screens 7.7 and 7.8 — preview the agency experience with synthetic identities, then release or roll back platform components.

/peek/customers/tenant-a/7-8

The customer experience preview switches synthetic personas, independent module combinations, external-work and source-change scenarios. Platform component release (7.8) is separate from agency page adoption: it publishes a version with impact and adoption guidance and preserves the agency’s release history. “Verified accessible” requires recorded testing.

Heads up — Rollback rechecks current entitlements and grants: rolling back to a page that contained a revoked data component keeps that content inaccessible.

7.7 · Customer Experience Preview

Show the agency experience under synthetic identities. Open it at /peek/customers/tenant-a/7-7 (any tenant ID you can access works in place of tenant-a). The primary action is Switch synthetic preview, which requires preview.use.

How 7.7 works

  1. 1. Switch synthetic personas, independent-module configurations, external-work and source-change scenarios

Fields shown
Persona, module state, simulated data, viewport
Primary action
Switch synthetic preview
Required capability
preview.use
Validation
Preview never reads production records, creates memberships or executes agency actions.
Successful outcome
Demonstration accurately reflects unavailable features and Core alternatives.
Screen states
Loading; empty; ready; restricted; stale; error; review pending
Audit event
admin.screen.7.7.action (acceptance test AT-UI-7.7)
Requirements
R02, R06, R18, R19, R28, SYS02, SYS04, SYS06, SYS10, SYS11, SYS20, SYS23, SYS12, UI-7.7
Boundary — Preview independent module combinations, external work and source-change states using synthetic data only.
Rejected even if the browser allows it — Change the preview tenant and attempt live impersonation; reject the identity and data request.

7.8 · Experience Release & Rollback Governance

Separate platform component releases from agency page adoption. Open it at /peek/customers/tenant-a/7-8 (any tenant ID you can access works in place of tenant-a). The primary action is Release platform component, which requires component_release.publish or configuration.rollback.

How 7.8 works

  1. 1. Review component compatibility, technical evidence and rollout

  2. 2. Stage release or rollback under current rights

Fields shown
Component diff, platform review, agency adoption, rollback impact
Primary action
Release platform component
Required capability
component_release.publish or configuration.rollback

Boundary — Rollback rechecks current entitlements and permissions and cannot restore revoked rights.
Rejected even if the browser allows it — Roll back to a page containing a revoked data component; protected content remains inaccessible.
