Contracts & Orders opens on the register — every award inside your agency and your data scopes. It combines two evidence lanes: the synthetic assigned work records with full workflows, and roughly 9,936 public CBP contract awards (FY2022–FY2026) loaded from a USAspending snapshot.

Search and filter

Register controls

Search
Matches record ID, PIID, parent PIID, vendor name, UEI, CAGE, title or description. Every word must match.
Office
Matches org unit, funding office code or awarding office code.
Status
e.g. *apparent active*, *outside current pop*, or synthetic lifecycle statuses.
Source
*Assigned work (synthetic)* or *USAspending (public)* — the evidence lane.
Award date range
From/to dates (YYYY-MM-DD) on the award signed date.

Applied filters appear as scope chips. *Agency* and *Your data scopes* chips cannot be removed; office, status, lane, date and search chips can. Clearing a filter widens the search — it never changes your authorization.

Sort by Relevance, Record, Vendor, Office, Source or Intake. Assigned work sorts first, then newest award.

Paging

The register shows 25 rows per page. The footer reads *Showing 1–25 of 9,9xx · Award signed date (public lane) or synthetic award date (synthetic lane)* with Previous / Next buttons. The header also reports total count, total value and status counts for the filtered set.

Selected contract panel

Click a row to open the side panel with tabs Overview, Documents, Contract State, Team and Readiness. From there, open the contract or Bring contract into work.

Evidence lanes

LaneWhat you can do
Assigned work (synthetic)Full lifecycle: intake, documents, team, deliverables, funding, packages, closeout. Marked SYNTHETIC; no legal effect.
USAspending (public)Read-only reference: vendor identity, PSC/NAICS, dates and reported obligations, link to usaspending.gov. No transactions, documents or team assignments are attached.
Heads up — Published dates do not confirm active status. A public award whose period of performance ends after the as-of date is labeled *apparent active* with the reason; date overlap alone cannot establish active status. Parent, order, modification, vendor UEI and product relationships are kept separate.
Tip — Inspect source coverage shows the snapshot ID, as-of date and date basis behind the results. No result means no match in this scope and snapshot.
