Policy center and inheritance
Screens 3.1 and 3.2 — review effective policy with its sources and simulate how department, agency and office scopes inherit.
PEEK Platform Administrator · PEEK Technical Reviewer
/peek/customers/tenant-a/3-1The Customer Policy Center shows the effective governance configuration for a tenant. Three kinds of value are always displayed distinctly: platform restrictions, agency decisions and recommendations. Every effective value identifies its scope, type, source version and decision authority.
How inheritance works
- Policy flows department → agency → office.
- A child scope may always tighten a parent ceiling.
- Relaxing requires the control to be explicitly delegable and valid authority; a nondelegable parent restriction can never be relaxed by a child.
- Simulation on 3.2 reports effective values and safe reasons without changing live policy.
