Start Work and guided jobs
Launch a guided job — define a requirement, research a need, register external work — or describe an intent and let guided work plan it (SH03).
Assigned user
/pdcc/my-day/startStart Work is the catalog of guided jobs you can begin. It checks capabilities per job, so you only see work your modules and authority support. Choosing an activity creates one saved job you can resume from My Day.
| Job | Needs | Creates |
|---|---|---|
| Define requirement | Core | A requirement draft (RQ02). |
| Research a need | Market Research | A research study (MR02). |
| Register external work | Core | An external package intake (M02) — always available, even without the originating module. |
| Prepare a follow-on acquisition | Acquisition Planning | A planning draft from a prior contract (AP02). |
| Bring a contract into work | Contract Execution | A contract intake (CT02). |
Guided start with an intent
In Guided Start Work you describe what you want (e.g. *prepare a follow-on for the field tablet pilot*). The result is a reviewable plan and a persistent job — never an automatic external action. Each recommended step has a Why drawer naming the governing workflow version and permitted alternatives.
