Document templates (catalog type document_template) carry a version, required fields, marking rules and permitted exports. You can preview synthetic output before release. Released templates identify version and provenance; future documents use the selected approved version.

Heads up — Templates preserve actual source markings and propagate restrictions — they never invent a CUI or other official marking. An export that would omit an applicable source restriction is blocked.

3.6 · Templates & Document Rules

Govern document templates and source markings. Open it at /peek/customers/tenant-a/3-6 (any tenant ID you can access works in place of tenant-a). The primary action is Publish template version, which requires template_catalog.publish.
